Seriously Series Reading Challenge

The Seriously Series Reading Challenge hosted by Reading the Paranormal and On A Book Bender sounds like a ton of fun and perfectly aligns with my goals as a reader!  I am super excited to joining in and letting the good (reading) times roll this year.  If you are too, you can sign up here.

2013 Reading Challenge: Seriously Series Goals

  • Series started before 2013: Seriously Spectacular Series Star with 18+ series
  • Series started in 2013: Seriously Spectacular Series Star with 18+ series
  • Series Re-reads: Seriously Spectacular Series Star with 18 + series

I know some of the series that I would like continue, begin and/or re-read but I also want to leave some flexibility.  I also am wondering at my ability to read 18+ in each of the three categories, but then I remember that I am all about the series here at Series-ously Addicted and that many of the books in my TBR are part of a series and suddenly it doesn't seem so overwhelming.  Here are some of my ideas of what I would like to do (although who knows what will actually happen!):

Series started before 2013:

  1. Ghostwalkers by Christine Feehan (currently need to read Samurai Game)
  2. Sea Haven: Sisters of the Heart by Christine Feehan (am current through Savage Nature, although Leopard's Prey comes out in May)
  3. Leopard Series by Christine Feehan (am current through Spirit Bound)
  4. Dark Series by Christine Feehan (can you tell I love her writing? am current through to Dark Curse)
  5. The Ladies of Lantern Street by Amanda Quick (have read Crystal Gardens)
  6. Dark Legacy by Jayne Ann Krentz (have read Copper Beach)
  7. Rainshadow by Jayne Castle (have read The Lost Night)
  8. The Inn Boonsboro Trilogy by Nora Roberts (still need to read books 2 and 3)
  9. Animal Magnetism by Jill Shalvis (have read the first two)
  10. Lucky Harbor (have only read the first)
  11. Men in Uniform by Nina Bruhns (have read Red Heat)
  12. Friday Harbor by Lisa Kleypas (have read Christmas Eve in Friday Harbor)
  13. Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor (this is a stretch, I only have a short novella to read)
Series started in 2013:
  1. The Bride Quartet by Nora Roberts
  2. Sirantha Jax by Ann Aguirre
  3. Iron Seas by Meljean Brook
  4. Spellbound Falls by Janet Chapman
  5. Spindle Cove by Tessa Dare
  6. Elemental Assassin by Jennifer Estep
  7. Guild Hunters by Nalini Singh
  8. Black Knights, Inc. by Julie Ann Walker
  9. Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
  10. Love Undercover by Lori Foster
  11. In Death by J.D. Robb (Don't think there is any way that I can get this series up-to-date so I will just see how this one goes)
  12. Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth
  13. Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins (yes, I realize I the only person not to have read these--drives my friends crazy because I won't let them talk about these books while I am around!)
  14. Fifty Shades trilogy by E.L. James
  15. Brown Siblings by Lauren Dane
  16. Immortally Sexy by Stephanie Rowe
  17. Order of the Blade by Stephanie Rowe
Series Re-read (either in whole or so I can remember enough of the series to get caught up) in 2013
  1. Dragonfire by Deborah Cooke (have only read the first 2 or 3 -- but it has been a long while)
  2. Psy-Changling by Nalini Singh (have read the first five prior to 2013)
  3. Nightkeepers by Jessica Andersen (have only read the first but remember really liking it)
  4. Elder Races by Thea Harrison (have read the first two books)
  5. Feral Warriors - Pamela Palmer (have read the first two previously)
  6. Mageverse by Angela Knight (had originally read through to Master of Dragons)
  7. Soulfire Series by Stephanie Rowe (I have read the first two
Now, I know I don't have everything in place but I don't want to plan this too much! As time goes by, I will be updating these lists and I look forward to seeing how this series challenge is going (and changing) at the four check-ins.
