Fantasy is More Fun, Because Reading, and Books, Review, and Movies! Oh My! are hosting the Coyer Back to Basics Challenge from Dec. 19 to Mar. 4.  The goal is to read free and nearly free ($5 or less) e-books off our e-readers.  I have 2,300+ novels, novellas, short stories, and samples on my Kindle.  I have read approximately 800 of them.  Of the remaining 1,500, up to three-fourths of them were $5 or less so I have A LOT of options for this challenge!  I don't know if samples are supposed to count, but personally, I would like to get to some of them so I can decide whether to buy, put on a wish list for later, or delete.  I also have a ton of free downloads to get to as well as books that purchased that are languishing on my Kindle (some of them for years!!)  Add in the library books I need to get read and returned and this challenge is EXACTLY what I need right now.  I also love that this challenge is just a few months long so it can match my attention span (I tend to be a binge reader and I get side-tracked easily...I am looking forward to focusing on this challenge but don't know how long it will last before I get distracted.)  Having a March 4 deadline gives me hope that I can stay focused most of this time on Coyer!
